Mindfulness courses
encouraging good habits
We strongly believe that it's fundamental to develop positive habits of mind such as mindfulness in children and young people, to aid them in their navigation of the world and to become happier and more self-aware and fulfilled adults.
Mindfulness can help children and young people to connect to themselves and discover their innate potential.
Using the super-engaging, deeply meaningful and fun programmes developed by Youth Mindfulness, which are evidence-based, draw on the latest research and are grounded in best practice, Headroom offers two different courses – one for primary school-age children, and one for secondary school-age and beyond – to teach mindfulness to children and young people, bringing to life the innate potential for awareness, happiness and kindness in children in a fun and dynamic way.
Courses can be delivered as best suits the participants – over 8 or 16 weeks or intensively, within a school or other setting or in the Headroom tent. Separate sessions for 7-11 year olds and 12-25 year olds.
